Tableau Data Visualization Software (Salons A - D)

Tableau offers a highly interactive and intuitive visual-based exploration experience for users to easily access, prepare and analyze their data.  Public school districts across the country, along with major colleges and universities are harnessing the power of Tableau.  Come hear and see how data analysts with Guilford County Schools (GCS) are using Tableau software to engage both the public and internal users.  From 300 pages to 0: GCS leveraged the power of Tableau to convert a monthly 300-page report into a dashboard that requires no paper. We have also used Tableau to reduce public information requests by placing common requests in dashboards on our website. Our data visualizations not only bring data to life but also allow users to filter and dissect the information in ways that are of most interest to them.  Students can get free Tableau licenses. Come see different visualizations that can be created for your own use.  Presenters are:

  • Dave Zwacyk, Director, Data Analytics & Support, Guilford County Schools
  • David Martin, Program Specialist III, Data Analytics & Support, Guilford County Schools
