NCARE 2020 Call for Proposals
"Power and Possibilities for the Public Good"
NCARE provides a forum for scholars at all stages of their careers to share research. For the 2020 NCARE Annual Meeting & Conference, we welcome proposal submissions of completed work or work in progress.
Each proposal abstract should include: the purpose of the study, relevant literature, methodology, results, and significance. Proposals should be single-spaced using 12-point font and be no longer than 250 words. Paper proposals should include relevant results and significance in the abstract and represent completed work.
The 2020 NCARE conference will have three formats for research presentations. Proposal authors will select either a paper presentation (for completed work), a roundtable presentation (for work in progress), or a poster presentation. Every effort will be made to give each author their first choice of presentation.
Proposal submissions will be accepted from September 1st through October 31st.
New this year, in order to aid our reviewers in making sound decisions, we will only accept paper presentation proposals during the normal submission window. Should there be a deadline extension, which is normal, we will only accept roundtables and posters during the extension period.
Please be prepared to attend the conference if you submit a proposal. We make every effort to accept all proposals and therefore will depend on your presentation to make our conference complete. Conference presenters in any format are expected to pay full registration fees regardless of how long they attend the conference.
Notification of session format will be sent December 1st.
