We are pleased to announce that the 2019 Annual Meeting of the North Carolina Association for Research in Education (NCARE) will be held February 28 - March 1 in the Student Activity Center on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

The 2019 Conference Theme is "Realizing the Possibilities of Public Education Through Research."

Some highlights of this year's conference include a full menu of workshops for graduate students followed by a networking social event on Thursday and new session formats. In addition, we are offering now pre-conference research methods workshops Thursday morning. Full descriptions of our pre-conference activities can be found on the conference page. NCARE is an affiliate member of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) through the Consortium of State and Regional Educational Research Associations (SRERA).
